Challenge

To innovatively display and draw attention to a weekly product in each Godfreys store. The objective was to increase traffic into stores and act as a conversation starter between consumer and sales staff.


Solution

The Godfreys product of the week display concept stand was specifically designed to showcase one vacuum cleaner and its attachments.

The display unit concept was conceived as a portable stand on wheels allowing it the flexibility to be positioned suitably in each Godfreys store. The industrial design team at the Artel Group designed it to be an effective way of highlighting one product, drawing attention to its features and stimulating a sales conversation.

Challenge

GWF’s Golden Crumpets were seen by consumers as a ‘winter’ breakfast. GWF wanted to position crumpets as an ‘all-year-round’ product with eating occasions beyond ‘breakfast’.


Solution

BT developed unique displays that provided a destination in Woolworths stores educating customers of the variety of eating occasions for Crumpets. A number of different displays were designed that could be modular to fit a variety of store sizes. All materials were able to be packed into shippers and fit into a merchandiser’s standard vehicle. The displays became known as ‘Golden Spectaculars’ and continue to be a key part of the WOW calendar.
